9:00-9:50am   “Introduction to Irish Genealogy: Where Do I Start?”  Beginner's 
guide to Irish research. Learn about the "paper trail" left by your ancestor which leads to place of birth 
in Ireland; explanation of Irish civil records and Irish census. Could you be eligible for Irish citizenship?
Find out.

10:00-10:50am  “Dublin, 30 June 1922: Did Everything Blow Up?” Discussion about
the disastrous fire in 1922 at the Four Courts, Dublin; history of the Public Records of Ireland, 
documents lost and those which survived; National Archives effort to rebuild the collection.
11:00-Noon  -  Tours of the McClelland Irish Library
Noon- 1pm - Lunch

1:00-1:50pm   “Mrs. Fancy Tart is Coming to Tea: Making Sense of Family 
Stories” Family stories are the starting point for genealogical research. Eileen shares stories each of 
which makes a point to bear in mind when gathering your own stories. This lighthearted look at family 
stories will educate and entertain you over dessert and coffee. 

2:00-3:00pm   “Come to Ireland to Find Your Irish Ancestors” For researchers 
intending to travel to Ireland, hints on preparation, documentary sources, pre-trip organization, and tips 
on Dublin record repositories.
3:00-3:30pm  Questions and answer time.  Drawing for prizes. 

Registration Fee: $40 for non-members or $30 for Irish Cultural Center members

We need your help in collecting photos of roadside memorials in and around Pima County.  It's as easy as snapping a photo of the roadside memorials you may pass every day.  

If you would like to submit your photo(s) the requirements are:
Memorial must have at least one name
Dates on memorial (if present)
Location: Short directions or GPS coordinates
Who gets credit for taking the photo
Date photo was taken
Optional: Any additional pertinent information as necessary
JPEG format is preferred

Send your photo(s) to angel1551us@msn.com with the subject line "PCGS - Roadside Memorials Project"

Photos become the property of PCGS.  
Memorials with no names will be rejected.  Sorry, we need at least a first name or a last name.
Please use judgement when taking photos.  If it's not safe to stop, don't!!  Remember, we don't want you to be the next memorial!
