New on Fold3.com!!

USCT Service Records are complete through the 138th Infantry
In partnership with the National Archives, Fold3 recently finished scanning and publishing the complete set of compiled military service records of the United States Colored Troops (USCT). The collection is comprised of over 3.6 million document images for the 1st through 138th USCT Infantry, the 1st through 6th USCT Cavalry, and the USCT Artillery.

Legacy Tucson Users Group Saturday, May 11

The next Legacy Tucson Users Group meeting is 10:30 a.m. Saturday, May 11, at the Family History Center, 500 S. Langley. 

This month's topic is Finding subsets of your family: using advanced search techniques and tagging. The presentation will be followed by open discussions where we can all share something new that we may have learned about Legacy or try to work out solutions to questions that we might have. Genealogy help session on Saturday, May 11 1 to 3 PM in UMC Room 2500 D on the south end of the cafeteria. Bring all the info you have on that elusive relative and Paul Duffey will attempt to find more facts for you. He will also demonstrate use of the website My Heritage.com, which has proven helpful to him in filling in missing dates and documentation.
