Family Tree Maker SIG after general meeting this Saturday, April 19th

The Family Tree Maker Special Interest Group will have their meeting this Saturday, April 19th from 3:00-5:00 PM, immediately following the PCGS meeting.  We will meet in the usual place, UMC Rooms 2500 C&D.  The main topic for our meeting this week is "Synchronizing Your Tree with Ancestry".  Also, bring your questions and suggestions.

DNA SIG: April 12th Use of DNA markers in predicting likelihood of inherited diseases

The DNA SIG on April 12 at 1 pm will be hosting  Dr. Christine Laukaitis of the Arizona Cancer Center.  She will be speaking on the use of DNA markers in predicting likelihood of inherited diseases.  The talk will be moved to the University of Arizona, Medical Research Building Room 102 at 1656 Mabel Street located at Cherry & Mabel.  Parking available in the lot in front of the building.  All are welcome to this event.

Legacy Family Tree Tucson Users Group Meets Saturday, April 12th

The Legacy Tucson Users Group is meeting at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, April 12, at the Family History Center, 500 S. Langley. The meeting is open to the public.

This month’s topic is Using AniMap with Legacy. The presentation will be followed by open discussions where we can all share something new that we may have learned about Legacy Family Tree or try to work out solutions to questions that we might have. Help Session this Saturday March 8th

Help Session, March 8, 2014, room 2500 D, 1-3 PM. The group will be brainstorming to help attendees learn new approaches for researching. If you have a problem ancestor, be prepared to share who you are searching for, time period, location, and what you have already done.
