TOPICS: (1) Researching in Colonial New England; (2) Pirates and Prisoners, surprises in the Registry of Deeds; (3) Cemetery Research for Your New England Ancestors; (4) Don't Call Your Relatives, Let Them Call You.
Marian Pierre-Louis is a House Historian, Professional Genealogist and Lecturer who specializes in southern New England research. She frequently speaks at conferences, societies and libraries on New England and a broad range of
genealogical topics. You will most often find her researching at a town hall, registry of deeds, probate court or the local cemetery. Marian has held many offices in genealogical organizations, including Secretary of the New England Chapter of
Professional Genealogists and Public Information Officer for the Association of Professional Genealogists.

Legacy Users Group meeting November 9
The Legacy Tucson Users Group is meeting is 10:30 a.m. Saturday, November 9, at the Family History Center, 500 S. Langley. The Legacy User's Group is open to the public.
This month's topic is Publishing a Genealogy Book. The presentation will be followed by open discussions where we can all share something new that we may have learned about Legacy or try to work out solutions to questions that we might have.
