Are you searching for your family tree on the web and not sure where to look?  Do you want to learn how to effectively search through the vast resources on the web to locate useful information on a select topic? This workshop will cover how to use the internet for genealogy. We’ll take a look at some of the more valuable, reliable websites and review strategies for online research. Participants will have the use of their own computer during the workshop.   Handout included.

Learn how to use maps and the Global Positioning System (GPS) in genealogy.  Maps and GPS can provide clues to where your ancestors lived and where to look for written records about them.
