This month's meeting focuses on DNA testing and its uses. Our guest speaker, Daniela Moneta, CG, will explain the three DNA tests availabe to every genealogist: Y-chromosome DNA, Mitochondrial DNA, and autosomal DNA, and how to use the results to further your generalogy research. She'll also explain how to use DNA testing when applying for DAR and SAR membership. Ms. Montena's program will be a great starting point for anyone wanting to learn more about DNA testing.
