 Each hour there will be a Study Hall at the Family History Center. Bring
questions you may have about your research and get one-on-one help from a family history consultant.

Technology webinars from some of the best professional genealogists will be
shown each hour. Topics will be: Backing Up Your Genealogy, How to Use
Google, Dropbox, Google Docs, and Google Earth.
The fair is being held at both the Tucson Family History Center and the East
Stake Center. They are next to each other but their address is on different
streets.

FREE Beginning Class - One on one mentoring and "Tips and Tricks for the Genealogist"

Please join us for our next free beginner's genealogy class.  The class is being offered on November 5th from 3:15 pm to 4:45 pm at the Nanini Library, 7300 N. Shannon Road. Google Map to Nanini Library   We will have one on one mentoring and a short program of  "Tips and Tricks for the Genealogist".   Please RSVP to Barbara Salyer at  296-1498.  

Free government genealogy resources

Part of researching is knowing where to look.  A good source for state maps with counties included are available through the census division of the government.   State maps with counties dated 2000 are available at http://www.census.gov/geo/www/maps/stco_02.htm.

The government has also produced a "Using Maps in Genealogy" document by the United States Geological Survey at  http://www.census.gov/history/pdf/mapsgenealogy.pdf.

Also available at the census site is a link to U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services genealogy program pamphlet.  It can be viewed at http://www.census.gov/history/pdf/uscisgenealogyprogram.pdf.
