We have a new name and blog!

The results of our survey are in.  Our new name is the Pima County Genealogy Society (PCGS).  Meetings will take place the third Saturday of the month at varied locations until a final decision is made on a meeting location.  We appreciate all of the wonderful suggestions for programs.  Many of the suggestions have already been utilized for our upcoming programs.  I will be posting a listing of our programs as soon as we have our speakers and locations confirmed.  We have decided to meet ten months of the year.  There will be no meeting in July or December.


The group decided on dues of $15.00 per year.  We will be converting to a calendar year.  Dues for the remainder of the year are $5.00 or $20.00 for August 2011 through December 2012.  Please bring your dues to our August meeting on the 20th at the Wilmot Library.  Our Financial Coordinator is Jo Clark  Checks may be made payable to the Pima County Genealogy Society.  Thank you Jo for volunteering.
